This submission on the Productivity Commission’s inquiry into the resilience of the New Zealand economy gives examples of where minerals are indispensable in supply chains and where these supply chains are susceptible to disruptions. It also demonstrates where the Government can enhance economic resilience to supply chain disruptions in the extractive industry.
